Marie-Claire Desax grew up in Zurich Switzerland and studied medicine in Berne. It was when she was working as a doctor of medicine that she realized she was developing a passion for photography. This passion has proven to be a very good balance to her demanding medical profession.

Inspired by and having met some internationally acclaimed photographers, Marie-Claire enjoys the beauty of people and nature through her lens.
